The 2026 fiscal year has just begun, and nearly 10 days have passed. With the national budget now finalized, various events are being announced. At the same time, Japanese students are actively starting their job-hunting activities for employment beginning in April 2027.
In this article, we introduce the online job fairs organized by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization).
JETRO hosts online joint company information sessions three times a year. This year, they will be held in October 2026, December 2026, and January 2027. Many Japanese companies aiming to expand globally and drive innovation through highly skilled foreign talent are expected to participate.
These events offer a great opportunity for international students in Japan and university graduates who wish to work in Japan to connect with a wide range of companies.
If you aim to start working in Japan in April 2027, it is recommended to focus on the following during the six months from April to September:
- Improve your Japanese language skills
- Review and enhance your professional skills
- Research Japanese companies and industries
